EverQuest 2EverQuest 2Dark Age of Camelot has a new login poll for players to consider, as they plan to merge their Japanese server with an existing cluster and want your opinions on it:
We had a sad announcement to make to the players of our Japanese server, Akatsuki. For too many reasons to go into here, we believe that the best thing for those customers is to put an English language version of Akatsuki with an existing cluster.
We are not talking about a lot of people, and their peak play time is half a day different from the bulk of you guys anyway. Before we decide on the right cluster for these players, we wanted to get everyone’s two cents. Therefore, there’s a log in poll about to come up, and I thank you for giving us your opinion.

Dark Age of CamelotDark Age of CamelotWoW: The Burning Crusade - Preview @ CVG
British print mag CVG serves up a preview of WoW: The Burning Crusade on their online site with particular emphasis on the races:
During the last year and a half, various posts have sprung up in the WOW forums debating the visual appeal of the Horde and Alliance avatars. One of the theories was that players (with a side-note towards female ones) weren’t choosing Horde characters because, well, they’re a bit nasty-looking. In the US, Alliance players far outweigh the Horde ones, although we evil-inclined Europeans tend to sway a little more towards the dark side.World of WarcraftWorld of WarcraftIt certainly looks like a factor Blizzard have taken onboard when developing the Alliance-based Draenei and the Hordish Blood Elves, their new characters for WOW’s expansion, The Burning Crusade
. Frank Pearce, senior VP of product development at Blizzard, explains further: “The aesthetic look of our new characters was certainly a consideration and it wasn’t just a consideration for female players. In Asia, we’ve found that players of both genders are more attracted to the Alliance characters, which they find more visually pleasing. But mainly, we just wanted to focus on making the content fun and compelling, which will draw people to it regardless of their gender or culture.”

The team from TrustedReviews take a closer look at The Burning Crusdade, the upcoming expansion pack for Blizzard’s MMORPG monster, World of Warcraft.
First and foremost, The Burning Crusade allows WoW players to smash through that Level 60 ceiling, pushing the upper echelon to Level 70. Of course clawing up those extra ten levels isn’t going to be easy, but then I guess that’s the whole point. There will be new spells and abilities to learn above Level 60 – Mages for example, will have the chance to achieve invisibility. To facilitate your elevation to the heady heights of Level 70, you’ll have to take a trip though the Dark Portal and explore an all new continent called Outland.Outland is stacked full of new dungeons aimed squarely at the Level 60 and above player. Obviously you’ll have a take a few friends along with you if you want to survive these new dens o
