Vanguard - Review @ Jolt
Our sister site at Jolt has published its review of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes today.
Vanguard has been a hugely ambitious project that, after a shaky start, is showing signs that in the not too distant future it might start delivering even more of its early promise. The initial roll out was for the most hardcore of players, and now it appears that the game’s appeal is slowly widening to those touched by the MMO bug who have now seen everything that WoW has to offer. With 19 races and 15 classes to choose from, getting bored with same old same old gameplay hopefully isn’t really going to be a factor. The game does have some annoying touches that are down to poor design decisions, the corpse runs being a case in point, but this is minimised with a good group or guild of people.
